Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has responded to those calling for his removal from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), asserting that no individual has the authority or moral standing to expel him.
Speaking during a media parley in Abuja on Monday, the former Rivers State governor reaffirmed his commitment to the PDP and dismissed his critics as lacking the credibility to question his place in the party.
He said, “I am still in the PDP. I worked hard for the party.
“I have not seen anyone with the guts to tell me, ‘Wike, you are not a member of the party.’ Who is that person? What has he contributed to the PDP that surpasses mine?”
Wike’s comments come amid internal wrangling within the PDP, sparked by his controversial role in the current administration and shifting political alliances.
Despite the mounting tension, he made it clear that his loyalty to the party remains unshaken and that he will not be easily sidelined.
