A popular Nigerian afro singer, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, has joined the campaign against drug abuse in the country.
This was disclosed on the X page formerly known as Twitter of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Thursday.
The singer, however, calls on Nigerian youths to stay away from drugs.
Sharing pictures of the artiste with the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) in Abuja, the caption states, “Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) with music star, Naira Marley when the artiste paid a visit to the National Headquarters of the Agency in Abuja to declare support for the War Against Drug Abuse.”

Nigerians have taken to X, formerly called Twitter lambasting on the singer saying that he should first lead by showing good example.
Hard drugs have destroyed the lives of millions of people in Nigeria.
