A video has gone viral on social media showing some students were seen on Tuesday morning crossing a canal in the Oko Oba, Agege area of Lagos as they proceeded to Orile Agege Community Junior High School and Eko Junior College.
THEWATCH AFRICA could see the children in the video clip jumping the canal one after other.

A resident in the area who identified himself only as John Alade, told our correspondent that, “This is how our students cross the canal to school. You can imagine what they are exposed to when it rains.”
It was however gathered that work resumed on the canal last Friday. The canal was said to have been under construction for over two years.
