A teenager who was attacked has died in hospital after a ‘tragic incident’ in Bristol.
The teenager was found with injuries and his blood spilt all over the floor on Grosvenor Road, St Paul’s, late last night.
The child was, however, rushed to the hospital at about 11pm by ambulanc where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say formal identification has not yet taken place, but the man is believed to be in his late teens and from the city.
Members of his family have been informed of their son’s death.
Officers have arrested a yet-to-be-identified teen who they believe is connected to the murder.
Forensic investigators have been pictured in the area, with a cordon in place and several white tents erected.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: ‘His immediate family are aware and have our deepest sympathy. They will be supported by specially-trained family liaison officers.
‘We’re very grateful to the community for their support to the officers who attended this tragic incident.
‘There will be an increased police presence in the area while our enquiries continue and we’d encourage anyone with concerns to speak to our officers.
‘The investigation is at a very early stage and we’d ask anyone with information or footage which could help our enquiries to contact us.’
Tributes have started pouring in for the victim, who is said to have been well-liked among locals.
