Damage to Iran’s Nuclear Sites ‘Monumental’ — Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump has described the recent American military strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities as "monumental," praising the precision and impact of the operation.

In a statement posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday night, Trump said the strikes were "hard and accurate," and commended the U.S. Armed Forces for what he called a “successful operation.”

“The damage caused to Iran’s nuclear sites is monumental,” Trump stated. “Great skill was shown. Congratulations to our military for carrying out a successful operation.”

While details of the extent of the damage have yet to be independently verified, the remarks mark Trump’s first public confirmation of direct U.S. involvement in targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

The statement has sparked widespread reaction, with analysts warning that such rhetoric could further inflame an already volatile situation in the region.

However, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei vowed the US will pay a price for its strikes Iran’s nuclear sites.

He promised to punish “the Zionist enemy” in his first comments after the United States joined Israel’s attacks on his country.

Trump has also hinted at the demise of Iran’s leadership saying, “If the current Iranian regime is unable to make Iran great again, why wouldn’t there be a regime change?”
