Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in the United States of America to meet with President Donald Trump.
The meeting is aimed at building on the India-USA Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.
This was contained in a post and accompanied by photos on the PM’s X handle on Thursday.
The post read, “Landed in Washington DC a short while ago. Looking forward to meeting #POTUS Donald Trump and building upon the India-USA Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. Our nations will keep working closely for the benefit of our people and for a better future for our planet.”
Modi has served as the prime minister of India since 2014 and was the chief minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014.
He remains the longest-serving prime minister outside the Indian National Congress.
